Our Programs
Welcome to Ozark Outpost Center, a small Christian training outpost in rural Missouri.
We offer a full Christian work-education program for High School students and a one-year Young Adult Accelerator — both rooted in the Madison blueprint of integrated faith, real work, and calling discovery.
All our programs combine Bible study, character building, practical life skills, and hands-on trades or medical missionary work tailored to the student's age. Choose your child's stage below to see how Ozark Outpost Center can serve your family.
High School
High School is the core, full-time program at Ozark Outpost Center. Students experience an integrated day featuring personal devotions, worship, focused academics (including Bible, math, English, science built around Anatomy & Physiology, and history), and hands-on trades.
- Trades & Industries: Agriculture, bakery, natural remedies, media, construction (Live-Build housing), and hydrotherapy.
- Safety First: In keeping with our 'Live-Build' model, students under the age of 15 are restricted from power tool use without direct one-on-one mentorship and specific parental authorization.
- Mentorship Model: Older students help train younger ones under careful staff supervision.
- Boarding Environment: Available in Houston, Missouri, focusing deeply on character, calling, work ethic, and missionary mindset.
We train for the Higher Grade — focusing on character development and competency over mere degrees.
Core academics are taught in short, focused terms — typically 2–3 subjects at a time. Students study Bible, English, math, science (built around Anatomy & Physiology), history, Personal Finance, and Life Skills. They progress at their own pace and are assessed by mastery — demonstrating real skill and understanding rather than chasing letter grades.
Through our work-study program, students help support their own education by earning tuition credit through meaningful labor in campus industries — construction, bakery, agriculture, media, and literature evangelism. This significantly reduces the cost of attendance while building character, work ethic, and self-support habits for life.
