Ozark Outpost Center is committed to clear, fair, and transparent financial practices. This policy explains how payments, withdrawals, and refunds are handled so that families can enroll with confidence.
The $50 application fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdrawal, dismissal, or cancellation before enrollment.
Families pay an enrollment down payment before the school year begins. This payment covers start-of-year materials and costs already incurred on the student's behalf: books, dorm preparation, computer lab fees, and program startup costs.
Because these materials and preparations are purchased in advance for the student, the down payment is non-refundable once the school year begins, regardless of the reason for departure, including expulsion or voluntary withdrawal.
Tuition is billed monthly in advance. The monthly rate starts at $1,000 and is reduced through the student's vocational work. As students earn labor credits in their assigned industries, those credits are applied directly toward the monthly tuition balance, working it down.
A month that has begun (including any partial days attended) is considered consumed and is not refunded or prorated.
If a student withdraws or is dismissed during the school year:
Upon a student's departure, Ozark Outpost Center will issue an Account Closure & Financial Settlement Letter documenting all payments received, all charges, and the final balance. Both the Educational Director and the parent/guardian sign this letter, and it serves as the binding record that the account is settled in full.
